Harbour Industries UL AWM 3239 Lead Wire 18 AWG 15kV 150°C Silicone - PER 10FT

Description

UL AWM style 3239 copper wire manufactured by Harbour Industries (Canada).
This wire has an 18AWG stranded, tinned copper conductor with an off-white heavy silicone rubber insulation of nominal 0.040in wall thickness.  This heavy insulation allows a DC voltage rating of 15kV.  Silicone rubber is a high temperature insulating material, and this wire is rated to 150°C.  Passes UL VW-1/CSA FT1 flame test.  The AWM 3239 specification with 15kV ratings is also known by CSA as TV-15 since it was originally intended for use on the high-voltage flyback outputs (anode, focus, etc.) of CRT televisions but now sees lots of other uses including neon/gas tube signage, tesla coils, and more.  The stranding on the conductor is 16x30.  This wire is RoHS compliant.
Silicone rubber insulation, in addition to being capable of handling very high temperatures, is also very flexible.  This makes it easy to route through tight corners, and the heavy jacket will provide decent protection in such instances.  This wire would be great for use in drones/UAVs, etc. where a higher degree of protection is desired along with high temperature insulation to keep conductor weight down.  While very flexible, it will generally hold its shape if slightly overbent.
I have assumed that this is Harbour Industries (Canada) based on the UL listing file number of E76475 printed on the wire.  I unfortunately do not have a part number for this wire nor any other documentation as it appears to be a special-order product.
You will receive TEN FEET of wire per quantity purchased.
This will be a continuous hank cut to length from the spool.  You will not receive the spool or any other documentation unless otherwise agreed.
