    Description

    This is a 25 foot length of 20 AWG twisted pair stranded wire. This wire is nickel plated OF copper wire with fluoropolymer insulation. The wires both have 19 strands. The colors are red and red/blue. This is very high quality wire made to exact specs for use in the International space station. The space station spec number of this wire is SSQ21656 , NGPC-EFT-20-2U. These numbers are marked on the wire. The label on the spool says
    CRITICAL SPACE STATION HARDWARE FOR USE IN MANNED SPACE FLIGT. MATERIALS, MANUFACTURING, AND WORKMANSHIP OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARDS ARE ESSENTIAL TO ASTRONAUT SAFTY.
    This is very high quality hard to find wire. It is easy to solder (good solderability). You may want to try nickel plated wire in you're next audio project to see how it sounds. Many audio connectors are nickel plated.
    I have just tested this wire by useing it as speaker wire. The sound is very good.
    The OD of this wire is aprox. 0.0510 (1.29mm)  per wire and 0.1040 inch (2.64mm) combined.
